Condo Receives Height Variance
Max Daytona Beach Receives Height Restriction Variance
The Daytona Beach Shores city commission voted Wednesday to award a variance to the developer of Max Daytona Beach, Atlantic LP/Bayshore Capitol. This variance will allow the new condominium project to be built to a height of 136 feet, which is above the current cap of 12 stories or 110 feet. The current height restrictions are currently under review by the Volusia County Growth Management Commission after the Daytona Beach Shores city council recently voted in favor of removing the restrictions.
In the meantime, Atlantic LP/Bayshore Capitol now has the green light for the Max Daytona Beach condominium project which, according to their website, will feature 74 luxury units “designed to enhance beachfront views with just the right mix of privacy and community”. At this time, no date is set for the completion of this project but prospective residents can visit www.maxdaytonabeach.com and register to receive additional information.
